Sales Representative

About the RoleWe're looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Sales Representative to manage and grow retail accounts across supermarket chains and wholesalers. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys being in the field, building strong partnerships, and driving sales results.If you're organized, customer-focused, and ready to take ownership of a territory, this role offers earning potential, autonomy, and long-term growth.What You'll DoAccount ManagementOpen, service, and grow accounts within your assigned territoryMonitor inventory levels, damages, credits, slow-moving items, expirations, and new product launchesEnsure timely collection of outstanding balances and resolve payment issuesMaintain accurate receivables and account recordsSales ExecutionPlace customer orders Monday-Friday by 3:00 PM (orders submitted 48 hours in advance)Execute planograms and support new store setupsParticipate in in-store events including product samplings, grand openings, resets, and promotionsCustomer RelationshipsBuild strong, professional relationships with store managers and key decision-makersFollow through on all customer and internal commitmentsResolve DSD discrepancies promptly (unresolved issues may impact commissions)Maintain a professional appearance and voicemail on company-issued mobile deviceTeam & Company EngagementAttend EMD trade shows, weekly Friday conference calls (3:30 PM), and monthly sales meetings (8:00 AM)Adjust schedule during holidays and peak retail periods (Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.)Compliance & OperationsFollow company policies regarding professionalism and confidentialityStay current on product knowledge, pricing, promotions, and store programsUse the AT&T Workforce Tracking System as requiredWhat We're Looking ForRequired:Valid driver's license in good standingVehicle insurance with $300,000 combined single limitHigh school diploma or GEDPreferred:Prior sales experience (retail, wholesale, or food distribution a plus)Bilingual (English/Spanish)Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented, dependable, and customer-focused mindsetWhy Join Us?Competitive hourly pay + gas reimbursement + monthly commissionPerformance-based commission opportunitiesWork with national supermarket chains and established retail partnersIndependence and ownership of your territorySupportive leadership and a structured sales organizationReal opportunities for career growth and advancement
