GoFundMe is looking for a Lead People Partner (HRBP) to partner closely with our Product and Technology organization in shaping a high-performance, values-driven culture. In this role, you will support senior leaders by translating business priorities into clear people strategies and actions that improve team effectiveness, performance, and organizational health.You will operate as a trusted advisor, coach, and problem solverworking across teams to diagnose challenges, recommend solutions, and drive outcomes. Your ability to bring structure to ambiguity and influence decisions will directly impact organizational effectiveness and scalability.We are seeking candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area who can come to the San Francisco office 2x times per week. Occasional travel to team offsites at one of our hubs in the US and Argentina.Build trust and credibility with product and engineering leaders through sound judgment, business context, and coaching that improves team performance.Partner with leaders to enact talent strategies that drive growth, performance, and engagement across teams.Translate business priorities into clear people plans, including performance management, organizational design, and workforce planning.Lead performance processes (e.g., calibration, promotions, performance management) to ensure consistent and high-quality outcomes.Coach managers on feedback, accountability, and team effectiveness, strengthening leadership capability across the organization.Diagnose organizational health trends using data and qualitative insights, and define actionable recommendations.Support team-level and multi-team organizational design efforts, including restructures, role clarity, and spans/layers.Navigate employee relations matters with sound judgment, balancing business outcomes, employee experience, and legal considerations.Partner with People, Talent, and Workplace teams to execute programs and ensure operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.Identify and address emerging risks (e.g., attrition, performance gaps, engagement) and ensure follow-through on mitigation plans.Experience: Bachelor's degree and strong background in People Partnering, ideally in a fast-growing technology company.Experience partnering with product, engineering, or technical teams is strongly preferred.Ability to connect people strategies to business outcomes and make decisions grounded in tradeoffs.Proven ability to navigate complex, ambiguous problems and define clear, actionable paths forward.Experience influencing senior stakeholders and guiding decisions through strong perspectives and judgment.Experience handling sensitive people matters and partnering effectively with Legal.Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to bring clarity and alignment.Ability to lead initiatives across teams, maintain momentum, and ensure outcomes are delivered.Comfortable working in ambiguity, creating structure, and driving alignment across stakeholders.Highly emotionally intelligent, self-aware, and skilled at building trust.Make an Impact: Be part of a mission-driven organization making a positive difference in millions of lives every year.Innovative Environment: Work with a diverse, passionate, and talented team in a fast-paced, forward-thinking atmosphere.Collaborative Team: Join a fun and collaborative team that works hard and celebrates success together.Competitive Benefits: Enjoy competitive pay and comprehensive healthcare benefits.Holistic Support: Enjoy financial assistance for things like hybrid work, family planning, along with generous parental leave, flexible time-off policies, and mental health and wellness resources to support your overall well-being.Growth Opportunities: Participate in learning, development, and recognition programs to help you thrive and grow.Commitment to DEI: Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion through ongoing initiatives and employee resource groups.Community Engagement: Make a difference through our volunteering program.We live by our core values: impatient to be great, find a way, earn trust every day, fueled by purpose. The company also offers equity and other benefits to employees, including healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) saving program. In addition to this wage, there are geolocation differentials that will increase pay depending on the work location. Additionally pay may vary depending on other factors including skills, experience, education, or training.
