EHS Manager - Kentwood Area

By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies.Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations.Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections, managing corrective actions.Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.Manage and deliver EHS training programs for all employees.Oversee hazardous waste management and environmental permitting.Develop and manage emergency response plans and procedures.Recommended Qualifications5-7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management roles.Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field.Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM, ASP).In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal/state EHS regulations, and experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, conduct risk assessments, and deliver effective training.Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence all levels of an organization.Bonus QualificationsProfessional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM)Experience with EHS management software implementation or optimizationLean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationExpertise in industrial hygiene monitoring and program developmentJob Titles That Should ApplyEHS Manager, HSE Manager, Environmental Health and Safety Manager, Safety Manager, Health and Safety Manager, Environmental Manager, Occupational Health and Safety Manager, SHE Manager, Workplace Safety Manager, EHS DirectorWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
