Role overview The Associate Performance Development Coach reporting to the Dir, Quality, Academy, and Coaching is responsible for mentoring and onboarding new hires while helping to ensure quality and productivity standards are met and sustained. This position is critical to the success of new hires joining the Care Advocate Coordinator teams by ensuring they are skilled and prepared to provide world class service to patients. A day in the life… Mentor and onboard new hires through the on-the-job learning portion of their new hire education to include: Providing job shadows and 1:1 mentoring sessions Facilitating practice for calls and cases Quality reviews through call listening and case evaluation Telephonic and Case skill-up Engage, support, and motivate new hires in their development and integration into the positive values and culture of Accolade Assess the skills of the new employee against the standards that apply to their role Lead/participate in learning workshops and/or training initiatives as needed Provide timely and appropriate analysis and feedback on the new employee's progress and support needs Contribute as required to quality assurance audits and action plans Communicate with employees in a motivating way and instill a growth mindset in the people they support Continuously look for creative techniques for coaching and mentoring to execute for employees Guide employees in effectively completing job tasks when coaching opportunities are identified Communicate with employees and/or their leaders to understand obvious or hidden root causes affecting performance while developing effective coaching and action plans to help close performance gaps Assess the strengths of employees and translate how they can use them effectively Monitor and evaluate progress of employee Maintain records and documentation and update appropriate performance monitoring reports What we are looking for… Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and professional experience 1 year Plushcare Care Advocate Coordinator experience is preferred Training experience a plus Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality Ability to adhere to processes and standards Demonstrate flexibility with work hours as needed Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Skilled critical thinker Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability Ability to inspire and motivate Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits, including access to Accolade Advocacy, Accolade Care, and Accolade EMO.
