You can hold your own across the table from a CXO, and you can push on the assumptions behind their most consequential technology and operating decisions. You're already using modern tooling — including AI assistants and agentic workflows — to do your work better, and you want a role where that orientation is part of how the work gets done.You can confidently own a high-stakes program end to end: a delivery engagement where the technology is genuinely consequential to how a global investment bank runs its corporate functions, backed by a team that has done the groundwork to make ambitious delivery possible.ResponsibilitiesYou'd be the engagement lead for a portfolio of corporate-services technology work streams at a large investment bank — the single point of accountability for delivery, client relationship, and outcomes. That means:Ramping quickly on the client's business, operating model, and regulatory environment so they want you in the room when consequential technology and process decisions are being made.Translating complex requirements and technical analysis, grounded in the client's operational and compliance reality, into clear and actionable plans across scope, architecture, sequencing, and change management.Operating at the leadership level — managing senior stakeholders across IT, corporate services, risk, and procurement — and bringing the clarity that helps client executives act.Owning commercial and delivery health: scope, timeline, budget, risk, and the quality of what your team ships.Using modern delivery tooling and AI-native workflows to accelerate analysis, prototype solutions, and strengthen the systems and playbooks your teammates rely on.Required SkillsStakeholder mapping. You can read a room, see the dynamics across a complex banking organization, and figure out how to deliver value in a way that lets every stakeholder — business, IT, risk, and compliance — win.First-principles communication. You can write a tight brief and walk a CIO through it without losing the room or oversimplifying, and you can write it for the senior engineer or analyst who'll do the implementation work.Delivery judgment. You've run complex technology programs in regulated, high-scrutiny environments and know how to keep them on track when scope, politics, and risk collide.AI-native orientation.
