Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionDraft substantive pleadings, motions, briefs, and other persuasive written advocacyConduct legal research and develop clear, strategic positions on complex issuesManage litigation matters from early case assessment through resolutionHandle discovery, including written discovery, responses, and document productionPrepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and appealsWork closely with senior attorneys on case strategy, witness preparation, and litigation planningCommunicate directly with clients on case developments, risk analysis, and recommendationsManage deadlines and priorities across multiple active mattersContribute to a culture of excellence, responsiveness, and outstanding client serviceQualifications3+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment6+ years preferred for candidates seeking an of counsel titleExcellent legal research, analytical, and writing skillsExperience drafting substantive motions, briefs, and court filingsStrong oral communication skills and professional judgmentAbility to build trust with clients and communicate effectively in high-stakes mattersStrong organization, responsiveness, and attention to detailJ.D. from an accredited law schoolColorado licensure in state and federal courts, or ability to obtain licensure quicklyDeposition, motion practice, mediation, and trial experience are a plusExperience in commercial, employment, fiduciary, tort, insurance, or other complex civil litigation is valuedWhy You Will Love Working HereYou will join a firm where strong lawyers do meaningful work, have direct client contact, and are trusted with real responsibility.
