Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for guiding customers through their purchasing experience, ensuring they receive the right products to meet their needs. Your expertise in cannabis products and your ability to communicate effectively will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs. Provide product demonstrations and educate customers about various strains, edibles, and accessories. Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of merchandise through effective merchandising techniques. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Utilize POS systems for processing sales and managing inventory. Stock shelves and ensure that products are well-displayed and readily available for customers. Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and product knowledge. Maintain compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations. Experience with POS systems is highly desirable. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting.
