Survey CAD Technician

Job Description Expanding Michigan firm with a critical role for a Survey CAD Technician is hiring in Rochester Hills!Responsibilities:Perform basic mathematics calculations (pipe slopes, areas, volumes, etc.)Detail/develop construction plansMaintain uniformity in work products by reading/following CAD Standards and Operating Procedures (standards, conventions, guidelines)Review/check plans for accuracyProvide an estimate of man hours required to complete CAD projectsProcess engineering calculations and site plan/utility layout with minimal supervisionProcess existing/proposed profilesPlot legal descriptions for parcels, easement, and right of waysImport survey data into Civil 3DProduce boundary, topographical, ALTA and as-built surveysGenerate stake-out coordinates/plot information for field crewRequirements: High school diploma or minimum of five years of civil engineering/surveying computer aided drafting experienceAssociates degree preferred2+ years of professional CAD experienceProficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015, Microstation V8, and GeoPAK preferredAbility to use station offset methods to set pointsSolid understanding of metric system with ability to convert between metric and EnglishExperience reading/comprehending simple instructions, correspondence and memosExperience presenting information to in one-on-one and small group settingsSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!www.harrisonconsultingsolutions.com517-906-6926
