LPN Wound Care

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality wound care services and improving patient outcomes. Duties - Assessing, monitoring, and treating various types of wounds - Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive wound care plans - Providing patient education on wound care management and prevention - Documenting patient progress and treatment plans accurately in medical records - Utilizing medical equipment such as Durable Medical Equipment (DME) for wound care procedures - Working in diverse healthcare settings including hospitals, nursing homes, pediatrics, hospice care, and occupational health environments Skills - Proficiency in medical documentation and record-keeping - Experience in acute care settings with a focus on wound management - Knowledge of internal medicine practices related to wound healing - Ability to lift and move patients when necessary for wound assessments and treatments - Familiarity with hospital medicine protocols for wound care treatment - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare teams - Previous experience in wound care within diverse patient populations is a plus Job Types: Contract, Travel nursing Pay: $2,400.00 per week Benefits: Health insurance Medical Specialty: Wound Care Physical Setting: Outpatient Application Question(s): Do you have Hyperbaric treatment experience?
