Yard Laborer

Yard LaborerGroot Industries, a subsidiary of Waste Connections, is looking for a safety conscious Yard Laborer to join the team at the Dukane Transfer Station in West Chicago, IL.In this position you will be occasionally operating and moving equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, compactors, and other light equipment.Helping out throughout the yard as needed and assisting customers.You will be responsible for routine inspection and maintenance on the equipment such as checking oil, water, and tires.Other job related duties as assigned.This is a physical job working outside in all weather conditions.Monday-Friday day shift with occasional Saturdays.Job Requirements Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.Apply today and Connect with Your Future!We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term disability, life insurance, 401K retirement.Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
