Daily Floating Paraprofessional Aide

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Daily Floating Paraprofessional Aide to join our dynamic educational team. In this vital role, you will provide flexible classroom support across various settings, assisting teachers and students to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Duties Support classroom teachers by assisting with lesson implementation, classroom management, and student engagement across multiple classrooms or program areas. Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with special education needs, including those with autism or behavioral challenges. Assist in developing and executing lesson plans focused on literacy education, math skills, early childhood development, and curriculum objectives. Help maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment by managing behavior and supporting positive interactions among children. Facilitate activities for toddlers, preschoolers, or students in daycare or private school settings, ensuring age-appropriate care and instruction. Collaborate with teachers on curriculum development and adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs. Support children’s social-emotional growth through effective behavior management techniques and compassionate communication. Skills Strong knowledge of special education principles, early childhood education, and childhood development practices. Experience with lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing literacy and math activities. Proficiency in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies. Ability to work effectively with children of varying ages—including toddlers, preschoolers, and students with disabilities—within daycare or private school environments. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff members. Familiarity with working with children who have autism or other developmental disabilities. Knowledge of Montessori methods or preschool best practices is a plus. Demonstrated experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers or private schools.
