Machine Tool Service Technician

Join our team and be a part of a thriving organization that values its employees and fosters a positive working environment.RESPONSIBILITIESService Technician will:·        Provide field service, maintenance, installation, and repairs to machinery at various customer locations.·        Maintaining rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, recommending system improvements.·        Assist with major job repairs to machines, equipment, or components.·        Install, test, or repair machine tools such as press brake, plate roll, angle roll, shear, band saw, welding positioner, lathe, fiber laser, etc. Repair or fabricate machine parts, fixtures, and tools.·        Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.·        Identify unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discuss machine operation variations with the manager or other maintenance personnel to diagnose the problem or repair the machine.·        Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.·        Provide detailed and clear service reports to both the customer and our company.·        Use sound judgment to deal with and eliminate safety related issues and adhere to OSHA regulations.QUALIFICATIONSThe Machine Service Technician shall have direct working knowledge of the following:Electronics Troubleshooting, Analyzing Information, Knowledge of Hydraulics, Good Judgment, Client Relationships, Equipment Maintenance, Reporting Skills, Confidentiality, Quality Focused, Results Driven, Supply Management, Effective follow-up. Knowledge of MS Office products.other requirementsHigh school diploma or GED, and two years of related experience/training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must also have a good driving record, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 50+ pounds. Pay negotiable based on experience.
