A high-volume Interventional Cardiology opportunity is available within a well-established regional referral center in Kentucky. This position offers immediate patient demand and the ability to step into a busy, procedure-focused practice supported by advanced cardiac infrastructure. Physicians will join a growing team of interventional cardiologists within a collaborative and well-supported cardiovascular program. The role provides a balanced mix of clinic and Cath lab time, allowing for both procedural focus and continuity of care. This opportunity is ideal for those seeking strong procedural volume, excellent support, and long-term growth within an established program.Practice, Compensation & Organization Highlights Join a team of 3 interventional cardiologists in a high-volume program Immediate patient demand with strong referral base and rapid ramp-up potential Balanced schedule with 4-4.5 days per week split between clinic and Cath lab 1.5-2 days dedicated to procedural time Approximately 60% outpatient and 40% inpatient case mix Outreach clinic one half-day per week No office-based procedures required Advanced cardiac program with 8 Cath labs including 1 hybrid lab Structural heart program expansion including TriClip and advanced support devices Procedures include TandemHeart support and complex interventional cases ACC-accredited Chest Pain and Cath Lab program Average STEMI door-to-balloon time of 53 minutes Dedicated cardiac step-down unit and full cardiac anesthesia support 30 hospitalists and ICU support including CVICU coverage Experienced APP and non-interventional cardiology support team Epic EMR system utilized across the organization 1:4 call rotation with shared coverage across cardiology team $75,000 sign-on bonus plus $25,000 annual student loan assistance (up to 3 years) Competitive base salary with productivity incentives 30 days PTO plus 5 CME days and $5,000 CME allowance Comprehensive benefits including retirement plans and malpractice coverage Community Overview - Eastern Kentucky Region This Ohio River community offers a unique blend of affordability, access, and lifestyle that appeals to physicians seeking balance.
