Power Platform Engineer
Position SummaryThe AI & Power Platform Solutions Engineer is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing AI-enabled and low-code solutions that deliver measurable business value across the enterprise. Operating at the intersection of analytics, automation, and applied AI, this role leverages Microsoft technologies -- including M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Foundry, Power Platform, and Azure-native services -- to rapidly translate business needs into secure, scalable, and governable solutions.This role partners closely with Enterprise Data & Analytics, IT, clinical and operational teams to prototype, deliver, and harden solutions that improve decision-making, productivity, and outcomes. The engineer serves as both a solution builder and technical advisor, helping teams move from experimentation to production while reinforcing responsible AI, security, and platform standards.Minimum RequirementsRequired Qualifications:Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, data science, engineering, or a related field. 3+ years experience in healthcare IT is required. Demonstrated experience building solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) in an enterprise environment. Hands-on experience with M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, or AI-driven workflow/agent development. Strong understanding of data integration, APIs, identity/security concepts, and cloud-native architectures. Experience translating business and clinical needs into technical solutions with measurable outcomes. Foundational understanding of how applications function end to end, with exposure to technologies such as ASP.NET and Python.Working knowledge of responsible AI principles, data governance, and security best practices.Ability to operate independently as a senior engineer while collaborating effectively across matrixed teams.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Preferred QualificationsMasters degree in data science, computer science, informatics, or a related discipline. Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry. Experience with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, Fabric, or advanced analytics platforms. Prior work building copilots, conversational agents, or agentic workflows at enterprise scale. Familiarity with healthcare data standards, privacy regulations, and compliance considerations.
