The CDL A Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. Day-to-day tasks include vehicle inspections, route planning, adhering to schedules, maintaining accurate documentation, managing cargo, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. The role also requires strong communication with dispatchers and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Qualifications A valid CDL A license and a clean driving recordExperience with operating commercial vehicles and adhering to federal/state driving regulationsAbility to perform vehicle inspections and ensure preventive maintenanceStrong organizational skills for route planning and documentation managementGood communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with dispatchers and customersPhysical ability to load and unload cargo when necessaryCommitment to safety standards and punctualityPrevious experience in long-haul or local trucking is a plus
