Full-Time Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Overview Our restaurant is newly renovated and features a large, well-lit, modern kitchen. 36" stove, 6' griddle, 2 fryers, and lots of refrigeration on the line. We have a large prep area around the wall from the line. We are looking for someone who can work (and sometimes run) the hot line. We have two full-time cooks and several part-time prep/runner staff. Right now - we need to give our two full-timers days off. We're looking for someone who can work 5 days a week. Our winter so far has been rather good. Considering we opened August 23, 2025, we're very happy and anticipate a strong warm season. Check us out, check out the area, and please consider us. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other food preparation tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies when necessary. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience as a Line Cook in a breakfast/lunch restaurant is preferred. Familiarity with food handling procedures and dietary department operations is advantageous. A background in culinary arts or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory. References required. We are a small breakfast/lunch diner in Elizabethtown, New York, way up north in the Adirondack Mountains. About 90 minutes south of Montreal!
