Kitchen Manager - BBQ and Casual Dining

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que began in 1983 as a mobile concession unit serving great Bar-B-Que throughout the Northeast. In 1988, the company opened its first restaurant in Syracuse and has continued to grow to five locations serving delicious Bar-B-Que throughout New York State. We are currently looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our Western, NY team at our Hamburg location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Kitchen Manager’s role is to provide uncompromised excellence at all times, making the Guest and the Bar-B-Que the heart and passion of all they do. Ensures the greatest degree of Hospitality to the Guests. Ensures consistent execution of all BOH systems and profitability by providing and ensuring quality training, coaching, and follow-through. Knowledge and practical application of all Kitchen (Expo, Smokehouse, prep and line quality identifiers and standards) and Dining Room systems and operations (ToGo, Host, Bar, and service standards). Work Experience Requirements: 2+ Full-Service restaurant management experience required. 2+ years of BOH experience required. Knowledge of inventory and budgeting required. Management of at least 15 staff members preferred. Chef experience preferred. Education Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Dinosaur BBQ® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
