Learn more about our services and impact by visiting willowsway.org.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in client homes, located in the St. Louis area. The DSP will provide individualized support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting them with daily living activities, personal care, and skill-building to promote their independence. The responsibilities of the DSP include:- Supporting clients in social and recreational activities- Implementing personalized care plans- Providing transportation as needed- Fostering a safe, respectful, and engaging environment Additionally, DSPs will collaborate with families and staff to ensure the well-being of clients.QualificationsA positive role modelReliabilityKind, patient, compassionate and respectfulExcellent communication skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalentAt least 18 years of ageDriver’s License, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle for use on the job (mileage reimbursement provided)Ability to pass all background checks and classes required
