AWS Admin

Job Summary As an AWS Admin, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the AWS cloud infrastructure. You will ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the AWS environment. Duties - Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS - Implement and control the flow of data to and from AWS - Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS services - Troubleshoot issues related to AWS infrastructure - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver AWS solutions - Maintain security best practices within the AWS environment Experience - Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and Linux - Experience with server technologies - Strong knowledge of database management systems including T-SQL, MySQL, and SQL - Hands-on experience with AWS services - Familiarity with VMWare virtualization technology - Understanding of firewall configurations and network security - Knowledge of Agile methodologies in IT projects - Ability to design and implement IT infrastructure solutions Job Type: Contract Pay: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: AWS: 8 years (Required) VPC: 3 years (Required) EC2: 2 years (Required) Cloud Watch: 2 years (Required) Ability to Commute: Baltimore, MD 21201 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Baltimore, MD 21201: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Baltimore, MD 21201
