Position Summary
Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Part-Time Inside Sales Representative to support customer engagement, sales support, and order management activities. This position is ideal for someone looking for a flexible schedule while contributing to customer satisfaction and business growth.
Schedule: Part-Time (Up to 30 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Relations
Respond to incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Provide prompt and professional service to existing and prospective customers.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Sales Support & Order Management
Qualify sales opportunities and customer needs.
Provide product recommendations and information.
Prepare quotes and process customer orders accurately.
Assist in ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
Vendor Coordination
Communicate with vendors regarding product availability, pricing, applications, and delivery schedules.
Support sourcing efforts to meet customer requirements.
Sales Collaboration
Work closely with Account Managers and internal teams to support sales initiatives.
Assist with identifying new customer opportunities and business development efforts.
Product Knowledge
Develop and maintain knowledge of IPS products, vendor offerings, and industry solutions.
Stay informed on competitive products and services.
Administrative & Operational Support
Assist with customer account setup and maintenance.
Maintain accurate customer and order records.
Provide additional administrative support as needed.
Provide occasional after-hours support as business needs require.
Professionalism & Safety
Represent IPS professionally in all customer and vendor interactions.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Competencies
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or relevant coursework preferred.
Experience
Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, distribution, or a related field preferred.
Entry-level candidates with strong customer service skills are encouraged to apply.
Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn products, processes, and industry knowledge.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend as needed.
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds occasionally.
