Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for building prototypes, assembling cardiovascular stent products, and inspecting products. You will aid the senior engineer by troubleshooting technical issues and designing models for new products and equipment. The ideal candidate will be familiar with manufacturing and assembly processes for medical devices. This is an incredible opportunity to join one of the medical industry’s innovators and advance your career in a rapidly growing and cutting-edge company.Assembly Technician (Cardiovascular/Medical Device Exp Req) ResponsibilitiesSupport production by assisting with one or more or all stages of the manufacturing processWork with engineers and staff to ensure production is efficient and drive improvementsEnsure availability of required materials, tools, and machinery for production/manufacturingAssess the quality of products and identify any defectsCreate drawings and schematics using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)Review drawings, and update them as necessaryTroubleshoot problems that arise with tools/machinery and coordinate necessary repairsConduct experiments and investigations with Sr. EngineersCollaborate with the quality assurance department to assist with testing and/or inspectionsEnsure products meet safety and quality control requirementsAssembly Technician (Cardiovascular/Medical Device Exp Req) Qualifications1+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment requiredMedical Devices Or Related High-precision Manufacturing Experience RequiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and drawings required
