Job Description
To effectively and efficiently check in patients, verify insurance eligibility, confirm and/or reschedule appointments as needed, and collect payments for services provided.The front desk performs many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skillsDuties and ResponsibilitiesGreet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the officeCheck-in patients and hand proper paperworkAnswer incoming phone calls and help patients with any dental requestEnsure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/emailMaintain office safety and security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception deskBook and Confirm patient's appointmentsSkills and QualificationsExcellent customer serviceProven work experience as a Receptionist or similar roleProfessional attitude and appearanceSolid written and verbal communication skillsAbility to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseExcellent organizational skillsMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksSpanish speaking preferredCompensation is based on experience and qualificationsNothing in this job description restricts CaliDental's right to assign or reassign job duties and responsibilities for this position at any time.
