Mentor a Child in Arlington with Big Brothers Big Sisters!

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Tarrant County we believe it takes Little to be Big. Our mission is to create and support 1:1 mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Currently, there are over 100 children in Arlington waiting for a mentor. With just a couple hours a month, you can positively transform a child's future.Littles in our program report90% improvement in family connectedness98% improved attitude towards risky behaviorand 97% are enrolled in university, employed, or enlisted within 1-year of high school graduation.In our Community-Based program, Bigs (mentors) and Littles (mentees) are matched based on similar interests, personalities, and backgrounds and spend time together out in the community doing things they both enjoy. Outings can be as simple as grabbing something to eat or as exciting as exploring a new hobby together!
