IT Project Manager – Family Court Case Management SystemEmployment Type: Long-Term ContractLocation: Columbia, SC (Remote eligible in TX, FL, AZ, SC, NC, KY, GA, IN, TN)Pay Rate: Up to $70/hrOverview We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to support a large-scale Family Court Case Management System (FCCMS) used in a complex judicial environment. This system supports critical court operations including case management, financial processing, document handling, and integration with external government platforms. You will play a key role in maintaining, improving, and modernizing this enterprise system while working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendorsWhat You’ll Be Working On The platform supports:Family court case processing and workflowsFinancial and accounting functionsDocument storage and imagingSystem integrations with external agenciesSecure data exchange with government systemsKey ResponsibilitiesLead project management efforts for system upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiativesWork closely with business and technical teams to improve system functionalityManage requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation activitiesOversee testing efforts including test planning, execution, and defect trackingCoordinate issue resolution between stakeholders and vendor teamsReview and validate system designs, documentation, and requirementsSupport user training and ongoing system education effortsManage production issues, enhancements, and system maintenance activitiesEnsure system changes align with business and operational needsCollaborate with stakeholders to prioritize improvements and enhancementsRequired Experience7+ years of experience working with or configuring FCCMS (or similar court case management systems)5+ years of experience in software solution design and documentation5+ years of experience gathering and managing software requirements5+ years of experience leading complex software implementation projectsPreferred ExperienceStrong understanding of software testing (unit, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing)Experience leading QA/testing or development teamsAbility to read data models and write SQL queriesExperience supporting systems in maintenance and operations phasesFamiliarity with electronic filing (e-filing) systemsTools & TechnologyMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Microsoft Teams & Share PointMicrosoft ProjectVisual Studio or similar development/testing toolsMicrosoft Test Manager (or equivalent)Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business users, and executive stakeholdersStrong organizational and coordination skills in complex environments
