2026-2027ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL(East Belfast Elementary School)QualificationsRSU 71 seeks a collaborative, innovative, energetic, enthusiastic, and experienced instructional assistant principal for the East Belfast Elementary School. The school is located in Mid-Coast Maine, in the community of Belfast. East serves students in grades Pre-K, K, 1, and 2, and has approximately 90 students and 33 staff. The assistant principal will possess and exhibit the following qualities and qualifications:Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing one to foster caring, trusting, and openrelationships with students, staff, parents, and community members.A capacity to help inspire and guide staff toward implementing innovative initiativesthat achieve the goals of the schools, district, and school board.Experience supervising and evaluating personnel with a model that is a growth model for individual staff members and the school as a whole.A proficient aptitude with technology, with a proven ability to create and use data to inform school and district practices.Maine Department of Education Building Assistant Administrator Certification and Criminal History Records Check.We are seeking collaborative administrators to join our team. We have four new positions for four of our five elementary schools.
