SLP in Spring, TX

Job Description Master&#39;s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school setting located in Spring, TX. This role supports students with speech and language needs, working Monday through Friday for 7.5 hours per day. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026, serving one school with a full caseload of approximately 37.5 hours per week.Key Responsibilities:Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for students with speech, language, and communication disordersDevelop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with teachers and parentsMaintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with district policiesCollaborate with educational staff to support student language development and effective communicationParticipate in team meetings and professional development as requiredQualifications:Valid SLP licensure is requiredFingerprint clearance and background check aligned with district requirementsExperience working in a school setting preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage students and staffAbility to manage a full caseload independentlyLocation:Spring, TX (serving one nearby school)This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students communication skills in a structured school environment.
