Job description About VersAbility Resources VersAbility Resources is a nonprofit based in Hampton, Virginia, supporting people with disabilities through employment services, day programs, and residential community living. We partner with families, employers, and community organizations to help people live, work, and thrive. Role Overview VersAbility Resources is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Workforce Development Intern to support program operations and initiatives within our Workforce Development team. This role provides hands-on experience in program coordination, data tracking, reporting, and content development. The intern will contribute to efforts that support participant success, workforce readiness, and overall program effectiveness. What You'll Do • Support the development and organization of training materials and program resources • Track participant progress and assist with coordination and execution of workshops • Assist with data collection, entry, and basic analysis within CRM systems • Prepare reports related to workforce readiness and program outcomes • Collaborate with team members to support program improvements and strategy development • Support vocational assessments and related administrative processes • Assist with participant engagement and program coordination efforts • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications • Currently a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Instructional Design, or a related field • Minimum GPA of 3.0 • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Interest in workforce development, diversity, and inclusion • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position operates primarily in an office environment and is largely sedentary. The role may require occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting of light materials, as well as extended periods of computer use.
