Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst, Streaming Apps on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is remote but with EST hours to align with the NYC based management team.This role provides crucial insights into the performance of promotion to direct-to-consumer streaming apps. The Analyst will work with the manager and coordinator, as well as a broader insights team, and will be expected to analyze campaigns that leverage 1st and 3rd party data, maintain up-to-date tracking documents, provide feedback for campaign optimization, and build out and refine media plans for connecting with intended audiences. This role is critical to ensuring campaigns are optimized to drive business outcomes and requires a high level of precision, organization, and cross-functional collaboration.We are seeking candidates with prior experience in interpreting data. This is not a creative or product development role, but rather one focused on leveraging analytics to inform media planning and execution.ResponsibilitiesSupport DTC strategy across acquisition and engagement campaigns, including execution, pacing, and performance trackingMonitor campaign performance across linear and digital channelsAnalyze campaign data and translate findings into actionable insightsOptimize streaming and digital campaigns using key performance metricsProvide recommendations for the effective use of digital media assetsDevelop and maintain performance reports and dashboards across platformsLead post-campaign analysis, delivering clear insights, key takeaways, and recommendationsCollaborate with marketing teams on A/B testing strategies and optimization approachesTrack, analyze, and report on owned and operated (O&O) campaignsSupport ad hoc analysis projects and urgent reporting requestsSkills/QualificationsBachelor’s degree in math, statistics, data science, or related field preferred2+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics or campaign analysisStrong analytical skills with confidence working with numbers, projections, and data interpretationExperience with campaign optimization and audience growth strategiesAbility to build reports, dashboards, and presentation decksStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyFamiliarity with media platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Freewheel, or Nielsen toolsExperience with Tableau is a plusExperience with broadcast log scheduling or media operations is a plusWe offer a competitive salary range for this position.
