Job Description Paint Technician Job Summary:An automotive manufacturing company is seeking a quality technician to assist their team. This position requires a team member who will be responsible for quality testing on a plant-wide level, ensuring product meets customer specifications and performance requirements The role requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Paint Technician Responsibilities:Applies spray sealer and top coatsMatches finishes to custom colorsHand Spray first shots and samplesTrack Supplies (Paint inventory and material)Maintains basic preventive maintenance on spray booths and equipmentPerforms basic functions on the ERP computer system (clocking in and out, work order maintenance)Keeps work area neat and clean according to company standardsSet up paint booth per paint production scheduleSchedule and Pay:2nd shift: 2:30pm-12:30am Mon-Fri (OT as needed)$24-30/HRPaint Technician Qualifications:Sitting or standing as neededFrequent walking, occasional bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling and twistingFrequent reaching above or below shoulder heightFrequent lifting up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting 50 poundsHigh school graduate or certificate of equivalencyBackground in Automotive, paint robots, understands paint process6+ months of painting technician experience
