If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!Position Title: Assistant Camp DirectorLocation: North Miami, FL 33161Duration: TBD (seasonal)Work Schedule: TBDResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:General Statement of Duties :The department is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Summer Camp Director to help lead and supervise daily camp operations. This role ensures a safe, fun, and engaging experience for campers while supporting and overseeing camp staff.Essential Job Functions :Supervise and support Summer Camp Counselors, ensuring effective teamwork and staff coverage.Oversee daily camp activities, including sports, games, arts & crafts, and life skills programs.Maintain a safe, clean, and structured camp environment.Administer first aid when necessary and enforce all safety protocols.Manage program supplies, including inventory and distribution.Communicate with parents and guardians regarding camper participation or concerns.Track attendance and document incidents, accidents, and disciplinary actions.Assist with planning, organizing, and leading activities.Ensure camp policies and behavior guidelines are followed.Report any issues to the Program Coordinator and assist with on-site training.To be considered for this position, you should have: [ Skills, Education, or Experience]Minimum Qualification :Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.At least one (1) year of experience working with large groups of children in a camp, daycare, or school setting.At least one (1) year of experience supervising staff in a similar environment.Attendance at mandatory staff orientation is required.Preferred Qualifications :Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation, or a related field orThree (3) years of experience working with children and supervising staff in a structured setting.CPR and First Aid certificationNote:- Outdoor work in various weather conditions.Tryfacta is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer.
