Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
We are a growing multidisciplinary treatment team seeking to add new full-time employees to our team! Employees must be friendly, professional, team players who are motivated to learn and who have a heart for working with children. Dedication to providing quality services to the children we serve, consistent professionalism, and a clear understanding of the ethical obligations of client care is an absolute MUST. Current RBT certification is highly preferred.
A degree in psychology, social work, or other health and human services is preferred. Previous experience as an RBT, BCBA, other areas of mental health, other therapeutic areas, or working with children with Autism or other developmental delays is also preferred. However, we will provide the necessary training for candidates with a commitment to learning how to provide ABA services and who are a good fit for our team. Hourly rate depends on experience and degree level once RBT certification has been obtained. A lower training rate is available to those obtaining the necessary training through us. This is a great opportunity for college students studying psychology, early education, or other related fields OR for any other individuals who desire a career in the helping professions.
Our ABA therapists provide in-clinic, in-home, and school-based therapeutic services to children of all ages who are on the autism spectrum and/or who have other developmental delays, behavioral/social difficulties, or other conditions. Our therapists typically work one-on-one and/or in group/social settings with clients to improve verbal, communication and social skills and to decrease problematic behaviors. Our ABA therapists must have the proper education, training, and license and/or certification to independently work with our clients. Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT’s) are supervised by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBAs), who have advanced degrees and are licensed to practice in the state of Texas. In addition to proper training, education, and certification, our ABA therapists must demonstrate patience, compassion, flexibility, strong communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to the company and to the ethical practice of ABA.
