DevOps Engineer

We're currently sourcing on behalf of a client looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer on a 1099 contract basis.🛠️ The Role You'll join an established DevOps team to accelerate delivery, automate infrastructure, and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines across cloud environments. This is a hands-on, high-impact contract role.📋 Responsibilities ▸ Build & maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy) ▸ Write Docker startup scripts; manage images on DockerHub & AWS; keep containers source-controlled ▸ Administer Linux/Red Hat systems: filesystem, volumes, users, permissions, Jenkins configs & plugins ▸ Provision IaC using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Docker Compose, and Ansible ▸ Deploy & scale on AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, Amplify); monitor via CloudWatch & X-Ray ▸ Enforce DevSecOps/PRISMA compliance; manage access controls, secrets & security frameworks ▸ Root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and maintaining CI/CD documentation✅ Required Qualifications ▸ 3+ years DevOps experience or Bachelor's in CS/CE ▸ Proficient with GitHub, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, YAML & Groovy pipelines ▸ Proficiency in Python, Java, Kotlin, Groovy, or Bash ▸ Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and IaC tooling ▸ Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills⭐ Preferred ▸ Android/AOSP dev with Gradle | Gerrit code review | Linux build tooling | Embedded software builds💼 Contract Details This is a 1099 independent contractor engagement.
