Their proprietary equipment delivers highly precise applications for weeding, thinning, and fertilization across a variety of crops.As a Field Support Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring equipment performance and customer satisfaction in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesTravel to customer sites across Southwest Washington to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in the fieldMaintain uptime and operational performance of deployed equipmentAssist in remotely troubleshooting electro-mechanical, software, and hardware issues using diagnostic tools and collaborating with engineering.Coordinate all repair and maintenance activities for the fleet of robotic precision weeders, ensuring timely resolution of issues.Assist with field demonstrations and optimize equipment performanceIndependently manage service calls, scheduling, and follow-ups within your territory, owning and initiating solutions to completion.Document issues, resolutions, and field learnings to support engineering and product teamsRapidly triage hardware and software issues and escalate when neededCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and customer success teamsBuild strong relationships with growers and provide exceptional customer supportMaintain tools, parts inventory, and service recordsWhat Makes This Role UniqueWork with cutting-edge agricultural robotics and precision technologySupport a diverse mix of operations, including specialty crops and regional farming systemsHighly autonomous role with ownership of a defined territoryDirect impact on customer success and technology adoption in the fieldQualificationsBackground in agriculture required (farm operations, ag equipment, or related experience)Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills2-4 years relevant experience in technical support, fleet operations/management, machine/system maintenance, and/or agricultural operations.Ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong communication and customer service skillsComfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel frequently within the region and occasionally out of stateSelf-starter with strong follow-through and problem-solving abilityCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $63,000 – $94,000Company vehicle providedMedical and dental insurance401(k) plan (no match)About Our ClientOur client is an emerging technology company focused on transforming agriculture through robotics, artificial intelligence, and data-driven solutions.
