Job OverviewAccountable to maintaining focus and implementation of lean activities across the facility. Emphasis on daily lead management visual aids, LSW training, 5S audit practices and lean methodologies events and action.Job ResponsibilitiesAssist in kaizen event preparation and sustain actionsAssist in data collection and analysis for problem solvingHelp replenish CI suppliesAssist in maintaining lead daily management (LDM) boards and other visual toolsFacilitate 5S audit processWith training, maintain Leader Standard Work (LSW)With training, solve basic problems using CI toolsAptitude to speak in front of teams and help conduct training sessionsConduct standard work auditsProficient in Power Point and WordVersed in Excel QualificationsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred Participation in Lean Kaizen eventsSelf-Initiative – needs minimal supervision, self-starter`Influencing skills – builds trust with team members; helps them see the win-winComputer skills are a plus– familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, proficient typing skillsAptitude to develop organizational and time-management skillsFlexible to changing work demandsMaintains a positive attitudeAptitude to develop communication skills to participate in and, at times help lead, kaizen eventsAbility to sit, walk and stand as required for multiple Gemba walks per day and all-day kaizen events; ability to demonstrate most job functions on the floor; can lift up to 40 pounds.Flexible to support both shifts as neededBilingual is a plusEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
