Job Overview - How You'll Contribute: Join our Detail Team and be part of a fast-paced company that's revolutionizing the automotive industry! As a Detail Supervisor at our state-of-the-art Omaha Reconditioning Center (Part of the H+H Automotive Group), you'll play a critical role in maintaining H+H's high cosmetic quality and productivity standards. Estimated annual earnings range: $40,000 to $45,000, depending on Experience. The Detail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day workflow and quality control process within the detail shop. This role focuses heavily on inspecting every completed vehicle before it leaves the shop, coaching detail technicians toward consistent, high-quality work, and helping maintain an efficient, organized work environment. The ideal candidate is someone who leads by example, communicates professionally, pays close attention to detail, and can balance quality standards with production flow in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:Quality Control & ProductionPerform final quality inspections on all vehicles before completionEnsure all units meet cleanliness and presentation standardsProvide coaching and feedback to detail technicians to improve qualityMonitor workflow and prioritize jobs to meet deadlinesReduce rework, touch-ups, and comebacks through proactive inspectionTeam Leadership & CommunicationLead, coach, and support the detailing teamPromote accountability while maintaining a positive work environmentCommunicate effectively with technicians, management, and internal departmentsStep in to support or cover the Detail Manager when neededShop Operations & MaintenanceMaintain a clean, safe, and organized shopHandle and manage detailing chemicals in compliance with safety standardsMonitor inventory levels and assist with weekly orderingTroubleshoot minor equipment or workflow issuesEnsure proper closing procedures are followedAdministrative ResponsibilitiesUtilize internal systems to track vehicles and workflowMonitor production flow and communicate concerns proactivelyAssist with documentation related to quality and performance The Schedule:Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Qualifications - What You Need to be Successful:Previous automotive detailing experience preferredLeadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to coach and develop team members professionallyOrganized, dependable, and able to manage prioritiesComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer skillsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the dayLift and move up to 55 lbsWork in varying temperatures and shop conditions About Omaha Recon Center (ORC):Best Places to Work in Omaha.Part of the H+H Group (H+H Automotive).Brand-New State-of-the-Art Facility in Steel Ridge.Best-in-Class Benefits.Family-owned dealership.Built-in toolboxes for Technicians.Air-conditioned shops.
