Job Location: Aberdeen, SD or Pierre, SD and Ames, IAThe Product Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring our customers can maximize their experience with our products and services. This role adds value to our customers and our dealer network by providing exceptional customer service; educating both customers and dealers on our products, technology offerings, and services.Your ImpactSupport customers and dealers to optimize the performance and efficiency of our ag equipment and technology offerings with a strong focus on sales execution, product adoption, and value realization, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.Execute sales driven product and technology training that clearly connects product capabilities to on farm outcomes.Act as a key OEM sales enablement partner to the dealer network and internal teams, working collaboratively to support dealer sales activities and improve selling effectiveness.Assist with and execute product demonstrations designed to advance sales conversations and support purchase decisions.Support dealers during customer visits to drive sales activity and pipeline development, build trusted relationships, gather Voice of Customer (VOC) insights, prospect and qualify leads, and help move opportunities forward through the sales process.Serve as a product specialist and trainer, transferring deep OEM product knowledge, field experience, and best practice selling approaches to dealer and internal sales teams to improve confidence, consistency, and execution in the field.Maintain discipline in completing internal administrative and reporting requirements to support sales activity tracking and performance visibility, including lead generation, training delivery, demonstrations, and dealer support initiatives.Your Experience and QualificationsHigh school diploma with 5+ years of experience working in a Sales, marketing, customer service, and/or technical support role working in the agricultural industry equipment, technology, inputs, retail, etc.Experience operating agricultural equipment and robust knowledge of technology products in the agricultural industry.Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in agriculture-oriented fieldsProficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.Salesforce CRM experience2+ years of sales experience in a dealer-based distribution channel, 1+ years' experience working with ag or industrial equipment or associated technology products.Strong agronomy knowledge & Strong communication skills.Your BenefitsHealth care and wellness plansDental and vision plansFlexible and virtual work options (where available)401(k) Savings Plan with company matchEmployee Stock Purchase Plan offering eligible employees the ability to purchase AGCO stock at a discounted pricePaid holidays and paid time offHealth savings and flexible spending accountsReimbursement for continuing educationLife insurance and other supplemental insurance plansYour WorkplaceYou will work with your wonderful AGCO colleagues in the Remote model with travel of 30-50% within the territory.
