The successful candidate will be a strategic and collaborative leader, responsible for the overall financial health of the College. This pivotal role involves strengthening financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management, as well as enhancing long-range financial modeling and scenario planning. The CFO will also be tasked with ensuring audit confidence, regulatory compliance, and optimizing revenue streams and operational efficiencies. Beyond technical expertise, the role requires a values-centered executive who understands the historic mission of the institution and is committed to translating that mission into measurable financial strategy. Candidates for the Vice President for Finance/CFO position at the company should have a master's degree in business, accounting, or finance, with a preference for a CPA and a doctorate or terminal professional degree. A minimum of 8 years of leadership experience in higher education, particularly with a focus on accounting and/or finance and administration, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in budget preparation, reporting, and control, as well as executive leadership and organizational skills. They should be adept at maintaining productive relationships, using data to guide decision-making, and have a strong work ethic with a high level of personal and business integrity.
