Die Cutter OperatorThe Die Cutter Operator will operate, set up, and troubleshoot die cutting presses to ensure efficient, accurate, and high-quality production. This role focuses on safely running machinery, performing changeovers, and completing routine maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition throughout each shift.ResponsibilitiesOperate die cutting presses according to established procedures and production requirements.Set up die cutting machines for new jobs, including tooling, adjustments, and calibration to meet specifications.Perform changeovers efficiently between different jobs to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of output.Troubleshoot die cutting equipment when issues arise and make necessary adjustments to maintain performance.Perform routine machine maintenance and basic repairs to keep equipment in safe, reliable working condition.Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area around the die cutting presses.Stand and work on your feet for 810 hours per day while operating and monitoring machines.Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production goals and support continuous improvement.Essential SkillsAt least 3 years of hands-on die cutting experience.At least 3 years of machine operating experience in a production or manufacturing environment.Proficiency in operating die cutting presses and related machinery.Experience with machine setup, including tooling changes, adjustments, and calibration.Experience performing machine changeovers between different production runs.Ability to perform basic machine maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.Ability to stand on your feet for 810 hours per day.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating instructions.Additional Skills & QualificationsComfort working with relatively new, large-scale production equipment.Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and make practical adjustments during production.Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Willingness to adapt to different production needs and support the team as required.Why Work Here?You will join a modern, well-equipped facility that invests in its people and tools. A recently completed 25,000-square-foot expansion has added additional equipment and production capacity. This is not a food manufacturing environment, which can offer a more comfortable and less harsh setting compared with many food production facilities. You will work around modern die cutting and related equipment, spending most of the shift on your feet while operating and monitoring machines.
