Speech Language PathologistDevelopmental Pathways, Inc. is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in our Early Intervention (EI) Department to provide therapy services in children's natural environments, community settings, and through telehealth. In this role, you will ensure compliance with Early Intervention (EI) guidelines, documentation standards, and funding requirements while delivering high-quality, family-focused services that empower caregivers and support children's developmental progress.Why Join Us· Schedule Options: This position offers a 40-hour work week with one of the following schedules:o Monday to Thursday (10-hour days)o Tuesday to Friday (10-hour days)o Monday to Friday (8-hour days)Build meaningful relationships with children and families through a community-based model focused on developmental support and family-centered careServe families throughout a local service area, with regular visits in:o Aurorao Douglas County: Parker, Castle Rock, and Castle PinesManage a balanced caseload averaging 5 to 7 client visits per day, allowing time for quality care and collaborationWork alongside a passionate team dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of young children and their families through early intervention servicesWhat You'll DoJoin a collaborative early intervention team and provide speech-language therapy services to children ages 0 to 36 months, using a coaching approach that empowers caregivers to foster growth during everyday routines and activitiesBe a part of a dynamic, collaborative early intervention team, partnering with families, service coordinators, and fellow therapists to develop and implement IFSPs while using a coaching model that promotes shared learning, professional growth, and positive outcomes for childrenMaintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance, including session notes, assessment reports, billing, Medicaid requirements, and coordination with community partnersWhat You BringRequired ExperienceTwo (2) years' experience in the relevant fieldSpecialty certification (ASHA)Active DORA licensure in ColoradoDemonstrated experience with specific programmatic concepts, practices, and proceduresEducation· Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate from an accredited therapy programAdditional RequirementsMust reside in ColoradoMust be able to meet physical demands to include bending or twisting of the body, lifting, standing time, and sitting time to include floor play/therapy, etc.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (or approved alternative)Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipNice to HaveWorking knowledge of Medicaid and private insurance billingKnowledge of rules and regulations for Early InterventionPrefer additional experience in an area directly related to job assignmentKnowledge of rules and regulations for the Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities and the Colorado Department of Public Health and EnvironmentCompensation $76,839 – $91,246 annually + an additional $1,500 sign-on bonusAbout Developmental PathwaysSince 1964, DP has supported more than 15,000 individuals with disabilities and their families across Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert counties. We connect people to vital resources and advocate for meaningful, fulfilling lives.We believe our employees are our greatest asset and are committed to a collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven workplace where you can grow and make an impact.Additional ResponsibilitiesMay be asked to support categorical assessments and initial Evaluation Eligibility and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) development for children who are categorically eligible for Early Intervention servicesAdhere to Medicaid regulations when this is a funding source (i.e., EVV)Help families determine priorities for serviceDevelop and maintain working case files per department policies and proceduresSubmit billing and supporting documentation timelyAssure paperwork submitted by other service providers, individuals in service, and community partners is completed, distributed, and filed as requiredPartner with service coordinators, Child Find teams, and other community partners who serve young children to deliver early intervention servicesAttend and participate in IFSP and care coordination meetings; schedule and facilitate meetings as neededMaintain EI Provider and billing portalEnsure adherence to Division for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities/DIDD rules and regulations and agency policies and procedures in the provision of services. Assists in assuring full compliance with agency policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulatory guidelinesMay be asked to participate in the supervision of Clinical Fellow Year through CFY ProgramSpeech Language Pathologists can earn credentialing on the job.
