Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity. This role is based in the DC/Philadelphia Area and includes opportunities at the local, state and federal level.Partnerships Manager is accountable for regional Government/Political revenue goals, building and implementing the agency strategy to pursue and win RFPs for media, marketing and outreach campaigns. Role includes leading the internal and external teams through proposal response as well as oversee implementation and results of contract fulfillment and client campaigns.Audacy offers full time employees with a comprehensive benefits package to include: health care coordinator, medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, disability, life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, paid time off (sick, vacation, personal, parental, volunteer), 401(k) retirement plan, discounted employee stock purchase, student loan payment assistance program, legal assistance, life assistance program, identity theft protection, discounted home and auto insurance, and pet insurance.ResponsibilitiesThe Partnerships Manager is an accomplished business developer with relationships in key agencies and governmental entities able to create and grow the portfolio of business within the region.What You'll Do:Assess the market of opportunity within State / Local governmental entitiesAssess the market of opportunity with Public Affairs and Issue revenueContinually uncover and cultivate agency relationships and direct government relationships with key decision makersSource, vet and select appropriate RFPs for new businessBuild effective collaborations with agencies and partners - assemble the winning team - to respond to RFPsEffectively pull on internal teams to create compelling, targeted marketing solutions and integrated media campaignsPitch and secure public education and outreach contracts to exceed revenue and growth goalsPitch and secure political campaigns to exceed and grow revenue goalsWork collaboratively within Government/Political Team throughout the company to grow and effectively manage portfolio of Government/Political businessDirectly coach and supervise the Government Partnerships Account Manager & Specialist to achieve optimal team performanceIdentify new trends in public sector marketing to enhance campaign proposals and effectivenessWork closely with compliance team at Audacy regarding political business for AudacyQualificationsMore About You:* Experience in government procurement and or agency business development requiredRequirements:Knowledge of behavior change marketing techniques and media activation strategies strongly preferredAbility to develop relationships and build partnerships in both public and private sectorsThe ability to uncover new sources of government funding for public education campaignsMust have a positive attitude and a drive to win- self-motivation is essentialStrong communicator with the ability to actively listen, share information effectively and persuasivelyExcellent presentation skills - able to hold a room, present powerfully, craft presentation strategy, write clearly and persuasively - under deadlineDeadline management is critical. Ability to plan and organize, set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced collaborative environmentStrong command of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel absolutely critical3-5 years media sales, agency business development or government procurement requiredKnowledge of government procurement is strongly preferredCollege degree preferredRequired:* A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.Important Notes:Please be aware that Audacy will never ask you to send money at any point during the hiring process.
