Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Services and Billing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring seamless communication, accurate billing, and a positive experience from start to finish. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent customer service skills, and a proactive, goal-driven attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary liaison between patients and our practice, handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, follow up on consultations, and coordinate patient communications.
Perform insurance eligibility verification, benefits analysis, prior authorization requests, and resolve billing discrepancies.
Manage patient billing inquiries, collect payments, and provide financial guidance to ensure accurate and timely account resolution.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with office protocols and insurance requirements.
Collaborate with the dental team to address patient concerns and ensure a smooth, efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and professionally.
Proficiency in telephone etiquette, problem-solving, and customer service excellence.
Basic understanding of insurance processes (eligibility, benefits, claims) is preferred but not required.
Highly proactive, goal-oriented, and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent judgment, common sense, and a strong work ethic.
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) or fluency in another language is a plus.
