Through the leadership of its Office of General Counsel, A4A works closely with member airlines to advance legal and regulatory strategies that support a strong, competitive U.S. aviation industry. The Office of General Counsel plays a central role in shaping policies that promote international connectivity, defend and uphold existing international aviation agreements and address complex legal and regulatory challenges affecting global air transport. By providing strategic legal guidance and coordinating industry positions, A4A’s Office of General Counsel helps safeguard the U.S. aviation industry’s global standing and long term sustainability. Together, A4A and its members continue to play a vital role in shaping the future of air transportation through principled advocacy, legal leadership and collaboration.Duties will include:• Supporting the Office of the General Counsel with day to day administrative tasks.• Assisting with basic legal research on assigned topics.• Helping draft simple internal documents and legal materials under attorney supervision.• Participating in special projects, such as scanning and filing documents, organizing compliance materials and preparing internal reference resources.Skills and Experience Desired:• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to execute on multiple projects, priorities and deadlines and work independently with limited guidance.• Good oral and written communication skills..• Strong editing and organizational skills.• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.OTHER DETAILS:• High school degree. Enrollment in an undergraduate program.• Duration: 2 to 3 months, depending on availability.
