Sr. Project Manager
One of Airetel Staffing's valued clients is looking for a Sr. Project Manager located RemotelyResponsibilities and Duties:The Senior Project Manager is responsible for defining, planning, and delivering complex, cross functional data and analytics initiatives within DataWorks (formerly Enterprise Data Office). This role manages interdependencies across multiple projects, vendors, and teams to ensure delivery within scope, quality, schedule, and budget, while driving operational rigor, transparency, and quality outcomes.• Program & Delivery Management: Lead the planning and execution of complex, cross functional initiatives, managing interdependencies across related projects and activities to ensure alignment to business and operational goals.• Scope, Change, and Traceability Management: Establish and enforce disciplined scope and change control practices. Champion adoption of a requirements traceability approach or tool to maintain clear linkages between requirements, development, testing, and delivery.• Quality & Testing Integration: Partner closely with DataWorks delivery teams and Quality Engineering (PQE) to define and execute comprehensive, data driven testing strategies. Embed quality controls throughout the full lifecycle, addressing testing competency gaps and ensuring readiness from build through implementation.• Risk, Metrics, and Reporting: Proactively identify, assess, and prioritize operational and quality risks. Define and maintain metrics and reporting mechanisms to provide leadership with clear, actionable visibility into program health, risk profiles, and data migration effectiveness.• Cross Vendor & Platform Coordination: Orchestrate complex cross vendor integrations (e.g., Atlan and Starburst Cloud) by defining clear operational interfaces, communication protocols, and escalation paths to ensure seamless interoperability.• Additional Responsibilities: Collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture teams to clarify complex functional and non functional requirements; facilitate workshops to resolve ambiguity; contribute to solution design from an operational efficiency and quality perspective.Required Qualifications:• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.• Experience:• 8+ years of project or program management experience, including delivery of complex, cross functional initiatives• Experience in data, analytics, data engineering, or technology enabled environments• Proven experience managing matrixed teams and contractors• Skills/Competencies:• Strong scope, risk, and change management expertise• Deep understanding of SDLC, testing lifecycles, and quality management practices• Advanced stakeholder management and executive level communication skills• Ability to lead cross vendor and cross platform integrations• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and common project management tools• Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent preferred (not required)• Other Requirements:• On shore contractor (United States)• Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment• Key Attributes:• Highly organized, analytical, and detail oriented• Strong leader with a proactive, problem solving mindset• Clear communicator capable of bridging technical and non technical audiencesPreferred Qualifications:• Experience supporting enterprise data platforms or cloud based data ecosystems• Prior experience implementing or leveraging requirements traceability tools• Experience working with data quality, data migration, or platform modernization initiatives
