We're looking for an experienced Benefits Administrator to support our industry leading products here at Tosoh Quartz, Inc. As the Benefits Administrator, you will coordinate and manage the benefits and leave programs. In this role, you will support our employees with all questions regarding benefits and leave, verify all insurance billing, maintain employee database and files, and ensure compliance with required benefit notices. What youll do at Tosoh Quartz. Leave: Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability and FMLA. Effectively interprets FMLA, OFLA, Oregon Paid Leave, and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities. Benefits: Manage and administer all employee benefit plans, employees savings plans, tuition and educational reimbursement and scholarships programs. Advises and informs employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, and provisions. Facilitates accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers. Completes records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies. Ensures the organizations plans comply with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA. Coordinate daily benefits processing. Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, Leave requests, Accommodations. Partner with EHS on Workers Compensation cases, as needed. Analyze current benefits, evaluating the use, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience and competitive trends in benefits programs, and identify the company's stance. Who you are. Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree in human resources, business, finance, or related. 5+ years of experience administering leave and benefits programs. Extensive knowledge of employee benefits, regulations, and best practices. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Thorough knowledge of plan design. Ability to understand, evaluate and make judgments on proposals (RFPs). Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, OFLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, OBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements.
