Med Tech/Caregiver Day Shift

Responsibilities: Help with personal assistance such as dressing, assisting with showers, baths, and toiletry assistance, along with other activities of daily living (ADLs) Demonstrate kindness and dignity during resident interactions Provide companionship and build rapport with residents Document cares appropriately Follow HIPAA and all other Apple Valley Residence policies Certified Medication Aide, Pass medications according to each resident’s care plan (MedTech) NOT REQUIRED, but desired Benefits: Training provided Paid time off begins accruing on your first day Potential Bonuses Benefits vary by employment status You will be a great addition to the team if you have: Prior caregiving experience is desired, but not required Medication Aide certified, desired*, but not required Passion and drive for helping others Excitement working as a team player Empathy and respect for yourself and those around you A desire to continue learning and improving your skills *While being MedTech certified is not mandatory for hire, we are looking for applicants who are interested in obtaining a MedTech certificate. Apple Valley will assist in facilitating an appropriate certification course. Apple Valley Residence can assist with any required training and certification.
