RequirementsExtensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVACStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to diagnose issues and plan repairs effectivelyExperience in scheduling and managing maintenance activitiesExcellent management and supervisory skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar softwareAbility to perform other related duties as assignedHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of five years’ maintenance experienceAt least three years of supervisory experienceMust be at least 21 years oldSuccessful background and CORI check required for employmentKey ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the maintenance departmentDelegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team membersSupervise custodial and maintenance staff to ensure quality workMonitor safety and cleanliness of all indoor and outdoor areas, including offices, grow and post-harvest rooms, labs, kitchens, and parking lotsPerform routine maintenance and repairs as neededSchedule inspections and coordinate emergency repairs with external vendorsCollaborate with Security to maintain proper security measuresPrepare reports on maintenance, repairs, safety issues, and other incidentsPrepare facilities for seasonal weather changes, including snow removal and asphalt treatmentAssist in budgeting and scheduling for facilities needs in coordination with Senior ManagementPhysical Requirements:Ability to navigate the property and 153,000 sq ft facility for inspections and repairsCapable of lifting up to 50 poundsPhysically able to perform repairs when necessary
