You will lead project design efforts, perform engineering design of precast components and connections, run 3D finite element modeling, and prepare construction documents in CAD and BIM environments. You will work with internal and external clients to deliver successful projects while building both technical expertise and leadership experience.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with internal teams and external clients to define project requirementsPerform structural analysis and design of precast components and connectionsPrepare drawings and construction documents in CAD and BIM formatsConduct 3D finite element modeling and analysis for structural componentsAnticipate and identify structural or scope issues and propose solutionsManage tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining budget accuracyLead and mentor staff when assigned as a Task or Project LeaderStay current with industry codes and standards while actively pursuing professional developmentContribute to the development of design templates, checklists, and standardsAssist the Vice President of Engineering with consultant billings and staff allocationCoach and support junior staff in their developmentRequirementsBachelor's degree in Architectural, Civil, or Structural Engineering required; Master's preferredDiverse project design experience with demonstrated career growthProficiency with CAD and BIM platforms and familiarity with finite element analysisStrong technical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams
