We are committed to 100% Texas-grown fruit and to showcasing the unique character of our land through every bottle we produce.We are seeking a Facilities & Grounds Technician to support the functionality, appearance, and day-to-day operations of the property. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role responsible for general maintenance, groundskeeping, and operational support across the property. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and takes pride in maintaining a high-quality environment.Essential FunctionsPerform routine grounds maintenance including mowing, weed control, irrigation support, and general landscape upkeep Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs across buildings, equipment, and property infrastructure Troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete general repair tasks within scope of experience Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, construction, and welding repairs as appropriate and in accordance with applicable regulations Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of indoor and outdoor spaces Assist with event setup, breakdown, and operational support Support property improvements, set up, and build-out projects across company locations Safely operate tools, equipment, and utility vehicles Identify and communicate maintenance needs proactively Follow all company policies and safety procedures RequirementsCompetenciesStrong work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Mechanically inclined with practical problem-solving skills Adaptable and responsive to changing operational needs Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude Demonstrates initiative and pride in maintaining company property Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone Work EnvironmentFast-paced winery and hospitality environment Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Frequent movement across multiple areas of the property Physical DemandsAbility to lift and carry 50+ lbs. regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and perform physical labor for extended periods Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Ability to safely operate tools and equipment Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Travel and Work LocationThis is an on-site position Travel between property locations during the workday may be required and is considered compensable time Occasional travel to nearby company properties may be required Additional RequirementsValid driver’s license required Experience pulling trailers preferred Forklift experience preferred (certification may be provided) Availability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed, in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws Work AuthorizationThis position is not eligible for visa sponsorship Compensation & Benefits$18/hour (non-exempt position) Full-time Team Members May Be Eligible For Benefits, IncludingHealth insurance 401(k) with company match Additional company benefits, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements Equal Employment OpportunityWilliam Chris Vineyards is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on any protected characteristic under applicable law.At-Will Employment StatementThis job description is not intended to be a contract of employment.
