This is a position that focuses on building and maintaining relationships internally and externally to complete commercial construction projects on schedule and within budget.JOB TITLE: Superintendent II(Superintendent I and Senior Superintendent Positions also available)REPORTS TO: Field Operations LeaderPURPOSE: The purpose of this job is to solely lead medium to large projects and complex healthcare construction project(s) while always ensuring the project is completed on time and aligned with the budget.What you’ll do:Collaborates with trade partners, field and office staff on a daily basis to complete construction projects on scheduleManages the work of trade partners per contractEnsures local, state, and national building codes are followedEnforce Graham and OSHA safety requirementsBuild and maintain relationships with owners, architects, trade partners, and industry representatives to help secure repetitive businessConstruct buildings per plans and specsComplete all daily, weekly, and monthly reportsManage and mentor carpenters, laborers, field engineers, and internsUtilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Projects, Outlook, and ExcelPlan and manage schedule with a six-week look aheadAttend and contribute to pull sessions and other preconstruction activitiesMake decisions and commitments regarding the best interest of Graham ConstructionEnforce Graham quality standards per Graham core processesCollaborate with project managers to manage budget, labor, and cost codesAll other duties as assignedWhat knowledge, skills, and abilities you’ll bring:Bachelor’s degree in management or related degree + 5 years of commercial construction experience or equivalent commercial construction field experienceDemonstrated ability to build commercial and healthcare construction projectsUse project management and scheduling software effectively.Great verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build per construction drawingsExtremely detail-orientedAbility to work nights and weekends as necessaryLegal Requirements:Valid driver’s licenseAbility to pass pre-employment testingMust be able to navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.Must be able to work in a noisy environmentAbility to take and pass OSHA 30 certificationAbility to work within one of Graham Construction, a 3G Company’s operational areas as assignedWhat benefits you’ll enjoy:401K with a 6% immediate vesting matchPersonalized growth opportunitiesTwo healthcare plans to choose fromVision, Dental, & Life InsurancePaid Time Off9 Company holidays annuallyNote - This is a field-based position and will not be an in-office role.
