This program will provide an opportunity to exploit the capabilities inherent in our diverse national systems to better meet the needs of the national command authority and warfighters to detect, track, and respond to strategic threats through 2030 and beyond.We are seeking a Facilities technician to support the planning, coordination, sustainment, and operational readiness of mission-critical facilities supporting this high-visibility program. This role will support facility operations, documentation, integration, maintenance coordination, and infrastructure activities associated with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and associated mission environments. The Junior Facilities Specialist will work closely with facilities leadership, engineering teams, security personnel, and Government stakeholders to support facility readiness, compliance, and operational support activities across classified mission environments.The ideal candidate will possess foundational experience supporting facilities, infrastructure, construction coordination, operations support, or technical environments within DoD, aerospace, government, or mission-focused organizations while contributing to safe, compliant, and mission-ready operational facilities.Responsibilities:Support facility planning, integration, sustainment, and operational support activities across mission environments and secured facility spacesAssist with maintenance and coordination of facility documentation, floor plans, infrastructure records, equipment inventories, and facility support artifactsCoordinate with engineering teams, security personnel, facilities leadership, vendors, and Government representatives to support facility readiness and operational requirementsSupport facility compliance activities associated with OSHA standards, building codes, environmental health and safety requirements, and security proceduresAssist with facility inspections, compliance reviews, Government Protection Survey preparation, and remediation tracking activitiesSupport construction, renovation, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrade activities across operational environmentsTrack facility projects, schedules, action items, service requests, and operational support requirementsAssist with procurement coordination, vendor communication, and equipment tracking activities supporting facility operations and buildout effortsSupport installation and documentation of facility infrastructure, communications equipment, furnishings, and operational support systemsMaintain records associated with maintenance activities, project updates, facility configurations, and operational support tasksSupport environmental health, safety, and hazard mitigation activities as requiredContribute to continuous improvement initiatives supporting facility readiness, operational efficiency, and mission effectivenessAbility to travel up to 25%QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR 0+ years with Master's degree; additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree will be consideredActive Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required; ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI access requiredFoundational experience supporting facilities, infrastructure, construction coordination, maintenance operations, logistics, or operational support activities within DoD, government, aerospace, or mission-focused environmentsFamiliarity with facility operations, project coordination, documentation management, or infrastructure support activitiesFamiliarity with OSHA standards, building codes, facility compliance requirements, or operational safety proceduresStrong organizational, analytical, communication, and coordination skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and support activities within fast-paced operational environmentsAbility to collaborate across engineering, facilities, security, logistics, and operational support teamsDesired Qualifications:Exposure to SCIF environments, secure facilities, or classified operational environmentsExperience supporting facility maintenance, renovation, construction coordination, or infrastructure projectsFamiliarity with Government Protection Surveys, facility accreditation activities, or secure facility compliance processesExperience supporting mission-critical operational environments or 24х7 operationsFamiliarity with project tracking tools, SharePoint, Visio, AutoCAD, Remedy, or similar facilities/documentation platformsExperience supporting environmental health and safety or operational compliance activitiesOSHA, facilities, project coordination, or related certifications preferredDetailsTarget Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
